This blog looks directly at Meta’s recent announcement for its plans for a metaverse and serves as a continuation of our conversation about Digital Reality and the challenge of how best to express new dimensional technology to unfamiliar consumers.

In addition to the good work of introducing viable holographic technology to the world, IKIN is faced with the tricky task of how to accurately convey this revolutionary new tech to unfamiliar consumers and businesses. Digital reality is a term currently being considered to carry this message forward, embodying the expectations of 3D content inherent in similar dimensional technologies like VR and AR but with a new, more universal twist.

Hologram applications seek to take both existing 2D and 3D experiences to a new level. And, in the case of the latter, they aim to refine those experiences, in part, by addressing some of the shortcomings of current 3D technologies.
