THE RUNDOWN
Last month was a busy one for IKIN with big announcements, accolades, expos, and new additions defining our June calendar. The IKIN ARC, our large-format holographic display, enjoyed its commercial debut. The prestigious Frost & Sullivan awarded IKIN this year’s Best Practices Technology Innovation Leadership Award. IKIN returned to ITEXPO at the end of the month where Taylor and I participated in a number of different panels, and Taylor delivered a keynote address. We also have a new addition to the IKIN team: Blake Fox, our VP of Engineering.
Plus, we started looking inside IKIN on our social media accounts, pointing our lens at key IKIN operations, including at the IKIN ARC, and at Taylor and myself to give our loyal community a greater glimpse behind the curtain of what we do.

THE IKIN ARC HAS GONE COMMERCIAL

On June 13, IKIN launched the IKIN ARC, our enterprise-ready large-format holographic display for commercial use. The IKIN ARC utilizes a high-resolution display to visualize volumetric holograms in ambient light and, unlike other forms of XR, operates without the need for supportive goggles or glasses. Relying instead on face-tracking technology, this intuitive approach allows individuals or small groups to create, view, and manage holographic content with ease.
“The commercial release of the IKIN ARC signifies a watershed moment for organizations that can utilize holographic content across all types of applications and services.”

IKIN ON THE GO AT ITEXPO
IKIN hit the ground running at ITEXPO 2022 in Fort Lauderdale at the end of last month. And we kept that pace throughout the show in order to meet all of our speaking engagements. IKIN CTO Taylor Scott gave a keynote address and, along with our CEO Joe Ward, participated in several panel discussions on topics such as practical developments in IoT, 5G, and digital transformations. IKIN also hosted an Idea Showcase Reception and Pitch Event as a leading sponsor for the IoT Evolution Expo and the 5G Expo.
WELCOME BLAKE FOX
We’d like to extend a hearty “Welcome to Team IKIN!” to our new VP of Engineering, Blake Fox. Blake joins us from HIA Technologies. As their VP of Engineering and Product, he spearheaded the creation of a platform to generate immersive content for AI healthcare embodiment within 3D, VR, and AR environments. He also brings extensive experience in creating facial animation software and designing tools that encourage technology adoption across rural America. In his work with the IBM Watson team, Blake helped to create immersive experiences that showcased the power of its supercomputer. All this experience and more make Blake and IKIN a perfect pairing for the innovative work being done within our walls.
