Exciting Updates from IKIN — October 2021 Newsletter

Can you believe Fall is already here? Things have been moving quickly at IKIN over the past year, and we’re keeping that momentum up as we move into October. We are thrilled to share that we continue to generate great interest in the investor community on the capital raise front and I want to thank all of our investors who have joined us on this journey, supporting IKIN along the way.

Additionally, I had the pleasure of talking with Alexander Ferguson of UpTech Report about the origins of IKIN and all the progress we’ve made over the years. The culmination of this progress has been featured in our social media recently as we’ve been rolling out a series of videos highlighting the debut of the IKIN ARC, our large-format holographic display system, at ITEXPO over the summer and the positive reactions we received from industry insiders who attended the conference. We are continuing to hit the road  this month at the AUSA expo, in Washington, D.C., and Mobile World Congress: Los Angeles.

Joe interviewed recently with UpTech Report, the multifaceted publication that explores the evolving landscape of technology through insightful interviews with leading industry pioneers. UpTech Report’s Alexander Ferguson quizzed Joe on the very foundations of IKIN’s goals and intentions, opening a long, fruitful discussion. The two covered the origins of Joe’s collaboration with co-founder Taylor Scott, the unique qualities that distinguish IKIN’s volumetric holography from other 3D media, like AR and VR, and the broad-spectrum applications of our technology. IKIN has been making waves in person and online via our social accounts. Our big social media splashes from last month include the launch of an ongoing video series recapping our summer outing to ITEXPO and the debut there of our IKIN ARC large-format dimensional display.

The IKIN leadership team, including our co-founders CEO Joe Ward and CTO  Taylor Scott, was on the ground last June, in Miami, FL, bringing the latest and greatest of our 3D offerings at ITEXPO 2021. Conference-goers were floored by our IKIN ARC volumetric display and the launch of the IKIN University training program, with one attendee describing our approach to holography as “something breakthrough that’s going to take the world by storm.” Users were invited to interface with the IKIN ARC through a customized Covid vaccine 3D game and were wowed by how the system exploded a 3D rendering of an eye to provide enhanced perspectives of its various parts.

To date, we have shared a video recap of the event, a dedicated video for the IKIN ARC, and we have started the rollout of attendee interviews that highlight the overwhelmingly positive responses we received from users of our goggles-free, 5G-ready 3D tech.

IKIN is on the lookout for skilled Unity developers who want to put their expertise to work testing and pushing the limits of our holographic technology. The IKIN Beta program is set to launch and is now accepting applications. This program will offer developers the rare opportunity to get hands-on with our industry-leading technology, opening an ongoing partnership between IKIN and this talented pool of 3D innovators. Developers interested in joining this select team can sign up on our site’s Beta Page.

The fall conference season is officially here, which means IKIN’s top brass is hitting the ground once more to bring our volumetric technology to industry experts and attendees of the season’s top events, including AUSA in Washington, D.C. and Mobile World Congress: Los Angeles.

AUSA, Washington D.C. (October 11-13)

The Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting and Exposition is the largest land power exposition and professional development forum in North America. Taking place over three days, the Annual Meeting is designed to deliver the Army’s message by highlighting the capabilities of organizations and presenting a wide range of industry products and services to a global audience.

At AUSA 2021, IKIN, in conjunction with Capstone Partners, will be exhibiting our 5G-enabled holographic “Smart Warehouse” solution inside the Vectrus booth. IKIN will leverage our software application to show real-time indoor precision navigation and to digitally peer inside sealed crates using a novel 3D, volumetric “x-ray vision” feature. Both features are part of the current United States Department of Defense (DoD) 5G-enabled smart warehouse experiment at the Marine Corps Logistics Command in Albany, GA. As part of this effort, IKIN has partnered with the best-in-class communication and warehouse technology companies such as Federated Wireless, JMA Wireless, and Vectrus.

Besides business development demonstrations and meetings with potential customers, the AUSA exposition allows IKIN to talk directly with end-users of our warehouse solution, hearing about which 5G-enabled features are useful, and what are the most pressing unsolved problems of the current systems, allowing IKIN to innovate and build a much more valuable solution for our customers.

Mobile World Congress Americas, Los Angeles (October 26-28)

IKIN leadership will reconvene with JMA Wireless in its booth at Mobile World Congress (MWC) Americas. Los Angeles-based MWC Americas is the largest mobile communications trade show in North America. The event attracts service providers, manufacturers, developers, and customers from around the globe, all interested and willing to meet with our IKIN team to explore the wealth of possibilities for our volumetric technology. IKIN will specifically showcase how dimensional solutions add significant capabilities to 5G consumer and business applications through direct meetings and demos conducted through the event’s Expo.
